BELTWORTH V-RIBBED Belts are ideally suited for high speed, and or high drive ratio applications that conventional V-Belts just cannot handle. BELTWORTH V-RIBBED Belts offer smooth vibration-free performance in a single compact drive belt. Well suited for applications such as appliances, outdoor power equipment, roller conveyors, machine tools, medical equipment and exercise equipment. Fiber Reinforced Ribs for excellent wear resistance, High modulus, low stretch tensilemember for added strength and dependability, smooth running for minimal vibration at high speeds, up to 80% higher horsepower capacity than RMA standards, o il and heat resistance and statically conductive. We have sections are: (PH, PJ, PK, PM, PL available).

Structure:

1. Belt top surface: wear resistant polychloroprene rubber compound

2. Tension Cord: Low-stretch polyester cord embedded in an adhesive rubber compound.

3. Base compound: parallel V-shaped ribs of a wear resistant rubber compound

Characteristics:

• Combines the high flexibility of the flat belt with the high-power transmission capability of the traditional V-belts

• Small pulley diameters

• Large speed ratios possible

• Good frictional power transmission and high-power transmission capability

• Insensitive to torque impulses and short-term overloading

Product Advantage

V-ribbed belts are one of the most popular types of belts used in automotive applications. They are known for their strength and durability, as well as their ability to resist stretching and slippage. V-ribbed belts are also relatively easy to install and remove, making them a good choice for do-it-yourselfers.

Product Uses

V-ribbed belts are commonly used in automotive and industrial applications. They are used to drive accessories such as water pumps, fans, and power steering. V-ribbed belts are also often used in lawn and garden equipment.

Product Operate Guide

If your car has a V-ribbed belt, it's important to know how to operate it. These belts are designed to provide optimum performance and longevity, but they require proper care and maintenance. Here is a guide to help you get the most out of your V-ribbed belt:

1. Inspect the belt regularly. Look for cracks, fraying, or other damage. If you see any damage, replace the belt.

2. Keep the belt clean. A dirty belt can cause premature wear. Wipe the belt down with a damp cloth or brush it with a soft bristled brush.

3. Adjust the tension periodically. Loose belts can slip and cause decreased performance, while too tight belts can wear out prematurely. Use a measuring device to check the tension and adjust as needed.

4. Don't over-tighten the belt. This can damage the pulleys or cause the belt to break.

5. Check alignment of the pulleys periodically. Misaligned pulleys can cause increased wear on the belt and decreased performance

FAQ

Q: What is a V-ribbed belt?
A: A V-ribbed belt is a type of automotive engine drive belt that uses a series of ribs and grooves to grip the pulley sides of the engine. The design of the belt helps to keep it from slipping while in use.

Q: How often should I replace my V-ribbed belt?
A: Depending on your car's make and model, as well as your driving habits, you may need to replace your V-ribbed belt every 40,000 to 60,000 miles. However, it's always best to consult your car's owner's manual for specific recommendations.

Q: What are some signs that my V-ribbed belt needs to be replaced?
A: If you notice any cracks or fraying on the surface of the belt, or if the ribs are beginning to show wear, it's time for a replacement. Also, if the belt starts to slip or squeal when in use, that's another sign that it needs to be replaced.
